The nameless killers

Shunsui was just listening he would do the same for Shi.

Shi sighed to herself and brushed Chi's hair out of her face gently 'you cant die... not when its my fault'

"I asked you too" Chi coughed slightly her voice but of a whisper... she could barely move.

Shunsui opened his eyes he looked over at Chi her eyes where closed as she wasnt moving had he imagined it.

Shi closed her eyes 'i know you did, but still' she wasnt surprised she had told her to wake up

"But nothing..." Chi whimpered slightly as she was coming round she could feel the pain slowly starting to engulf her... she did not open her eyes or even move.

"Am i... am i imagining this?" Shunsui whispered shocked beyond belief.

'dont speak' Shi whispered 'get Unohana Shunsui'

Chi didnt speak nor move she knew it would waste the energy she didnt have and that she would fall back into the darkness.

Shunsui nodded and did just that he moved to find Unohana he didnt take long before he brought her back.

Unohana rushed over and started to treat her

Shi took a step back, she was overwhelmed

"Is it possible to make the room darker.... only the brightness is hurting my eyes... even with them closed" Chi spoke softly.

Shunsui looked at Unohana to see if it was okay to close the curtains.

Unohana nodded as she worked

Shi drew the curtains closed

Chi smiled slightly that was much better though it was hard to move any part of her body as she was weak and in pain.

"Ill... ermm... get us some food" Shunsui replied he didnt know what to do.

'stay' Shi whispered

Unohana was tending to Chi 'it... it looks like its going to be alright'

"I did something terrible" Chi whispered... she had the memories of everything she did.


Shunsui nodded and stayed.

'you didnt' Shi stated 'your body was not your own'

Unohana nodded 'thats right'

"But i did nothing but watch.... and let my body be taken over" Chi replied softly, "Its a disgrace"

Shunsui sighed slightly it wasnt her fault.

'Chi stop it this instant' Shi stated rather sternly

Unohana sighed

Chi did indeed fall silent... she opened her eyes for the first time it was dark in her room like she had asked and it was easier on her eyes.

Shunsui stayed silent he had wondered if she would of remembered what had happened... how many lives she had took from her squad though she had been in second he knew it would still be hard to deal with.

Shi took a step back

Renji was at the door 'she woke up and noone told me!'

Chi knew that voice anywhere she smiled.

"Ahh Renji... well i would of alerted you but its best we dont not over excite her she is very weak still... just because shes conscious doesnt mean she is fine" Shunsui smiled thinking that was a plausible excuse.

Renji moved over to her side slowly 'hey there princess'

Shi just moved away

"Hey" Chi replied softly.


Shunsui placed his hand on Shis shoulder.

Renji smiled 'im so happy'



Shi turned around 'lets go' she whispered

"Shi... thank you..." Chi whispered she knew she was going to leave so she had to say it before she left.


Shunsui waited for Shi.

Shi sighed 'i did nothing helpful... at any point'

Renji just let them speak
