Tseng aimed to shoot at Vincent once more

'Vincent... hes injured.... get out first' Rayne shouted pulling out her short sword 'ill hold them off, im faster than you go' her eyes were serious

Reno intercepted, he locked his electromag stick with Rayne's sword, panting, coughing he couldnt keep this up long

Vincent sighed he grabbed Rayne buy the arm and pulled her out of there handing his gun to Cloud to hold them off from behind.

Cloud held off Rude as much as he could but they were faster.

Cid was in the drives seat ready and he started to drive off knowing Cloud and Vincent would catch up.

Cloud got on his bike.

Vincent made sure Rayned ws safe on his bike before he drove off though injured he wouldnt let anything come to harm of her.

Rude breathed out and wiped the blood from his head.

Raven stifled her coughs making sure no one would see her back at all.

Rayne looked down he never let her help him, it made her feel weak, he had even went to the measure of handing over his beloved gun

everyone else was already in the truck


Reno sighed holding his side 'shit man how the FUCK do they always gank us like that'

Tseng sighed 'they have a monster with them'

"I want to protect you... you make me less of a monster" Vincent whispered in her ear.

Cloud just drove off leading the group.




"And we were outnumbered to begin with" Raven stated with a straight face apart from the bullet in her arm a few scratches here and there she looked fine but of course they couldnt see the arrow wedged in deep in her back.

Rude sighed, "I take it lets head back"

Rayne closed her eyes she didnt believe he was a monster at all 'i.. i want to protect you too sometimes' she looked down




'Rufus is going to ask how we got injured' Tseng stated he looked composed but a second later he flipped the table over 'FUCK'

Reno jumped slightly

"You will do" Vincent replied he was driving slowly than usual.




Raven turned to look at him, "Simple if he asks we say we was trying to get Reno to set up a bomb properly... only it was tampered with and exploded. We were outside quite away as not to disrupt anyone in our training.... But Rufus may not notice we are injured if we can get to the infirmary and be healed and then on our way like nothing happened"

Rude thought bout it... not bad thinking.

Rayne sighed 'im sorry, your injured'




Tseng was still fuming 'no no .... i wont let him get away with this again.. no.. i wont give him time to heal up... i have some potions... ill give them to you Raven, you go after him... alone, kill him when hes alone, i dont care how you do it'

'YOU CANT SEND HER ALONE' Reno shouted

"Do not worry" Vincent replied.



"Tseng... we only have a helicopter.... and im not going to walk" Raven replied coughing cringing slightly.

Rude sighed this was not looking good.

Rayne looked out ahead, they were losing pace 'do you want to save the earth?... its a struggle against times itself, and maybe we are losing time, just to save our own skins'


Tseng sighed 'true, im sure theres a motor around here somewhere, the whole town is lived in by Shinra actors...'

'Tseng will you think about this clearly' Reno shouted 'shes just as injured as we are'

"Let us go into hiding for a while" Vincent had made up his mind he drove off leaving the group to carry on.



Raven sighed she was not winning at all she sat down making sure there was no bck or the arrow would sink in further.

"Tseng i think we should all go back rest up then when he least expects it send Raven after him" Rude stated.

Rayne looked down speaking 'are you sure you dont want to save a world that Lucretia Cresent lived on' she had read something, a report.. before she had found him in the basement, she knew



Tseng sighed 'alright, get going all of you'

Reno sighed and started to move

"I want you to be happy... it will do us both good" Vincent replied.



Rude moved out slowly.

Raven waited to be the last to leave then her back wouldnt be seen and she was not having this arrow pulled out by Tseng.

Rayne sighed he had avoided the subject completely


Tseng moved back 'ill meet you in a few minutes'

Reno waited for Raven

Vincent drove off just reaching a new city before he collapsed of his bike his injuries needed tending.



Rude moved inside the helicopter.

Raven sighed taking Renos hand she walked beside him.

Rayne jumped she had limited curing abilities but the first thing she did was use her limited magic



Tseng stood up 'oh and Raven... arrow'

Reno stopped what was he going on about

Vincent layed there still.



Raven was quick her gun aimed at Tseng, "This arrow stays in my back" she stated firmly, "I can feel how deep it is... its staying were it is"

Rayne moved over to him, using a hi-potion 'Vincent?'


'let me snap it at least' Tsend stated 'so it wont get pushed in deeper'

Vincent opened his eyes, "Yeah" he replied softly.



Raven sighed, "Alright" she stopped so he could snap it at least.

'where were you shot?' Rayne whispered



Tseng moved and pulled it out in one fluid motion, pressing against it with his hand before he cured her, to stop the bleeding

Reno winced for her

Vincent pointed to his chest.



Raven fell to her knees the amount of pain that had caused her was massive... worse than before and you could clearly see it as the tears left her eyes. She was silent not able to make a noise.

Rayne stood up 'ill get help' she couldnt cure that herself


Reno moved over to her to pick her up gently

Tseng sighed 'better'

Vincent nodded closing his eyes.




Raven griped at Reno still silent as her tears fell.

Rude was in the helicopter just waiting.

Rayne kissed his cheek gently before she ran off to look for the surgery



Reno picked her up properly

Vincent sighed softly waiting.




"Tseng... I FUCKING HATE YOU YOU BASTARD" Raven shouted her back was sore.

Rayne ran into the clinic 'help' she was out of breath



Tseng sighed 'youll thank me'

Reno moved 'shhh shhh cmon'
