"I do not know" Otonashi replied, "Didnt you like it like that?"

The policeman sighed and passed her a set of gloves, "Read it" he held out the dairy.

'no .. i mean, before i died it was cut short.. but i never wanted it cut' Katsumi whispered

the nurse put on the gloves and took the book in her shaking hands reading

"Isnt that a good thing it came back" Otonashi smiled.

The policeman couldnt bring himself to say what was in the dairy... it was sick and disgusting, near the end it got better it even mentioned the nurse on how Haru felt as if someone cared like she could maybe confide in her one day... and then a few pages after that was the words written in blood how she was wrong.

the nurse felt sick reading flicking through the pages it was disgusting

The policeman sighed, "Horrific stuff... but with this we can bring her father down, so in a way it was a good thing she wrote it down... her silent suffering"

Katsumi smiled 'i guess it doesnt matter how'

the nurse sighed 'i did eveything i could.... i thought id made sure'

Otonashi shook his head, "Not really... all that matters is that your happy"

The policeman sighed standing up, "I know you did... its as clear as day in that dairy... you gave the girl some happiness before... this" he sighed taking the dairy back and bagging it up.

Katsumi looked down she wasnt completely happy

the nurse bit her lip 'it wasnt enough'

"Ahh we should be heading back now" Otonashi smiled.

"Im sorry.... do you know if the girl had any other relatives?" The policeman asked.

Katsumi nodded and stood up slowly

'a brother... and some distant relatives, they werent close though' the nurse sighed it was in the school records

The policeman nodded, "I shall inform them... please go home and rest"

the nurse moved out still a little shell shocked

Otonashi walked inside he sighed when he saw the prefects ordering everyone back to their dorms it was past curfew.... "Never stop do they"

the night went by and soon it was morning Katsumi was up and in the infirmary

Haru slowly opened her eyes waking up... she felt weird.

Katsumi smiled 'good morning... Haru' she remembered the girl from her class

'from what ive seen though, this place is really nice... noone has bullied me ... yet... ah also.. please dont tell anyone how i died' Katsumi whispered putting her head down as if a small bow

"Of course not" Haru smiled up at her, "I... i hope you dont mind that i named the three main culprits... i havent seen them since the police took them" she smiled hoping it would make her happy.
