Shunsui closed his eyes, "Maybe we should get some rest eh... who knows it may be a bad dream"




"No... im not mad" Byakuya replied.

Ukitake half laughed 'ive been having a bad dream for 90 years'



'i.. want a hug' Renya whispered

"I shall bid you goodnight Retsu... Ukitake" Shunsui bowed his head to them both before he flash stepped off.




"Why dont you go ask him" Byakuya stated.

Unohana sighed 'you better stay here' she stated leading him to a bedroom in the fourth




Renya bit her lip, he was mad 'i asked you'

Shunsui moved back to his own home to get some rest.




Byakuya said nothing he didnt even move.

Ukitake just nodded silently thanking her as he got into the bed



'on both counts' Renya added in a small voice

"GEt some rest" Byakuya stated.

Ukitake couldnt sleep and he knew it, not even the alcohol helped


Renya clenched her fists 'how can i rest?'

"By closing your eyes and sleeping" Byakuya replied.

Ukitake closed his eyes but all he thought of was Hanae


Renya stood up 'you know what.. i'll save you the bother of being beside me' she moved to the door 'maybe i will ask him' she added bitterly slamming the door behind her, she walked down the hall to sleep in the guest room

Byakuya said nothing more as he lay there silently.

Renya slumped into the guest room, why had she said that.. why couldnt she just have lay there and let him be cold to her, shed just made it worse

Byakuya didnt move he just lay there in silence.

Renya let herself cry, she was worried about the execution... troubled about her sister... and now... Byakuya.. whom she actually did love, was being so cold to her... they had never argued properly before

Byakuya sighed slightly but tried to get some rest.

Renya cried herself to sleep

Byakuya soon drifted off to sleep himself.

the night passed and soon it was morning Renya was in the guest room, she had a maid go into the room she usually shared with Byakuya to get her clothes




Ukitake was still awake, his head was hurting now

Byakuya was ready for the meeting that was called today.



Hanae had awoken in the night shivering... it wasnt exactly warm where she was... she sighed.. she wished it would just end already.

the maid brought Renya her Uniform and left

Renya sighed this was bad... really bad



Ukitake wasnt even going to bother changing

Byakuya was in the main room drinking his morning tea.




Hanae curled up hugging her legs hoping it would warm her up... but it didnt.

Renya moved into the main room once she was dressed, she looked away from Byakuya
bastard is so calm, he doesnt even care that i was away from him last night
in 90 years they had never spent a night without being together in bed


Ukitake used the bathroom to roughly wash his face

Byakuya finished his tea, "There is a meeting today" he stated.




Hanae shivered, she imagined Ukitakes warm embrace... it gave her a little peace of mind.

Renya said nothing
he really doesnt give a shit, does he?



Ukitake looked at himself in the mirror, he looked ill.. pale and tired

Byakuya placed his cup down silently.



Hanae sighed... she had hurt Ukitake... he had waited so long for her but now he would never get the chance to be with her.... she gripped at her clothing letting the tears fall from her eyes... she had given into the weakness.
