Lies beneath the truth

Renya turned her head away and walked out... she might cry if she did right there, she couldnt show weakness.. and he knew that about her

Ukitake moved what was he supposed to do

Byakuya went to follow but stopped when he saw Shunsui, "Can we have a word?" he asked the man.

Shunsui sighed and nodded following him out.



Hanae closed her eyes she couldnt even sleep properly.

Renya closed her eyes she wasnt going to work like this, there were too many pressing things on her mind


Ukitake wandered over to the bottom of the hell around the tower, he knew he wasnt allowed to go in... but he looked up at it, he felt closer to her like this

"I think it best you forgot MY wife" Byakuya stated.

Shunsui sighed, "I understand"

"Do you love her?" Byakuya asked looking at him... his eyes clearly saying he was pissed.

"I did" Shunsui replied.

"Did?"

"I mean do... yes i love your wife"

Byakuya looked at him, "Dont you dare touch her... or even speak to her unless you have to"


Hanae was curled up on the highest part of the stairs beside the slit in the wall... shivering and crying silently. Her thoughts had gotten the better of her.

Renya had returned home.. not to work


Ukitake looked up at the tower... it really was cruel when he thought about it.. he wanted to glance upon her, but he couldnt see anything..

"What i do with my life is up to me not you" Shunsui stated.

Byakuya raised his eyebrows, "Do not think for one moment you are better than me... you are not even worthy to touch her"

"I was though... at one point" Shunsui smirked.

Byakuya did something that day he never though he would do he punched Shusnui.



Hanae looked out of the slit in the window... she blinked... was that? she couldnt believe it she smiled though she was still crying... she could see him she could see Ukitake.

Renya had went back to the guest room where she had slept, Byakuya wouldnt want her in their room, she didnt know what to do, everything was crumbling around her



Ukitake was looking up at the tower wishing he could see her he really just wanted to see her... and he had missed his chance

Shunsui coughed, "Is that all you have Byakuya... a weak punch just because i have had the pleasure of kissing your wife... just because i love her"

Byakuya closed his eyes, "Your blood isnt worth being spilled by my zanpackto" he stated.



Hanae was watching out of the slit... she kept her gaze on Ukitake... she could do it all day... he had made everything go away though he was so far away.

Renya tried to think straight but she couldnt



Ukitake sat down still looking up at the tower, it was cruelty she was so close and yet he couldnt see her

Shunsui waved, "Goodbye Byakuya" he moved out of sight before he sighed that punch had really hurt.

Byakuya moved off home.




Hanae wish she could just sink through the wall and go to Ukitake... but she couldnt. Though it was cruel in a way she was glad she could see him.

Renya didnt move, shed confine herself here in this room that wasnt even her own



Ukitake sighed, nothing could reach her... he had missed his last chance to see her

Byakuya moved inside the manor he went to their room to see if she was there.




Hanae sat down more comfortably just watching Ukitake.

one of the maids tapped his shoulder 'Lady Renya' she whispered pointing to the door down the hall




Ukitake looked down, he couldnt even send her a hell butterfly

Byakuya nodded, "Thank you" he stated before he moved to the room and knocked on the door.




Hane traced the outlines of the slit still watching Ukitake.

Renya stood up and opened the door slightly looking down


Ukitake sighed how could he tell her anything like this

"Renya.... i apologize... i was jealous of him" Byakuya sighed.



Hanae was content in watching.

Renya opened the door more and leaned into his chest, her hands balling into fists, hitting his chest very gently 'idiot!' she was crying



Ukitake sighed looking up again maybe hed ask permission to see her, he knew the answer would be no, but he wanted to try

Byakuya pulled her into his arms and cuddled her close.




Hanae was actually smiling properly just at the sight of him...

Renya cried into his chest hitting him once more gently 'i was scared' she stuttered




Ukitake ran his fingers through his hair, this was hopeless

"Im sorry" Byakuya whispered as he hugged her tighter.



Hanae sighed happily leaning her head against the wall watching him.

'i t-thought our marriage... would crumble' Renya sobbed 'along with everything else going on... i didnt want to lose you too'




Ukitake was only hurting himself

Byakuya ran his fingers through her hair, "You will never loose me"




Hanae kept her eyes on Ukitake... she could see he looked troubled and hurt... it made her heart ache that she could not give him a hug and make him smile.

Renya jumped back and pulled him inside shutting the door... she had suddenly realised the maids could see her out there, her eyes were all red and puffy from crying and her face was stained with tears



Ukitake sighed out a whisper 'i love you, Hanae'

Byakuya kept her in his arms gently.



Hanae closed her eyes she wished she could go comfort him... but she couldnt.

Renya looked up at him, her lower lip trembling still 'i-i missed you last night... i really really did'



Ukitake sighed this was painful
