"You promised me you wouldnt die" Sakura whispered, "You never break your promises..... i-i only just got to see you again..." she chocked up slightly as she cried.



Grimmjow moved and wrapped his arms around her waist holding her close.

Ukitake looked up at Shunsui 'did you have to?'


Ayame took his hand and made him touch her face 'look... its... its gone now' she was talking about her skull

Sakura just cried, "Now what hope do i have..... i have no one, not even my family left...."

Shunsui sighed nodding, "I'm afraid i did... i had no choice"



Grimmjow kissed her cheek where the skull would have been, "No matter what you look like you are beautiful to me"

Ukitake sighed softly 'Sakura?'



Ayame turned her head slightly away 'i cant come back'

Sakura looked at Ukitake as tears ran down her face, it was clear how upset she was.... well she had just lost the love of her life.



Grimmjow sighed, "If that is what you wish" he said softly.

'you can always come back to us, i'll be your family' Ukitake whispered



'no... i want to be with you.. but i cant go back to los noches... i'll never forgive Aizen' Ayame stated 'so this is your choice, you leave me here, and i go somewhere on my own, leave Kensei be alone as i should have been' she stated as she gripped at the jacket around her waist 'or ... we go somewhere... all of our own'

Sakura looked back down at Starrks lifeless body in her arms and hugged it closer to her, "You where my only love" she whispered, "I will never ever forget you" she replied shakily as she reluctantly let go of his body.. it was already painful for her and you could see the hesitation of not wanting to let him go.




"Let us go somewhere together" Grimmjow whispered, "I only agreed to come in hopes of seeing you again"

Ukitake looked down, it was painful to watch



'in hopes? i was to be killed?!' Ayame stated

Sakura turned her back on Starrks body shaking, she was trying real hard not to look back.




"I heard it was only captains we where up against.... i just wanted to see you again eve if you didnt want to see me" Grimmjow replied.

'come on... i'll keep you safe' Ukitake whispered




'Grimmjow.. for all you know i was DEAD' Ayame stated 'they were going to execute me'

Sakura closed her eyes slowly walking towards Ukitake.





"Do you know how hard i tried to come and save you.... i really did" Grimmjow sighed closing his eyes to hide the pain, "I almost gave up.... because i thought maybe.... but i know you wasnt because if you where a part of me inside would feel dead if you where gone but i could still feel that strong connection"

Ukitake took off his haori to wrap it around her shoulders




Ayame closed her eyes 'oh Grimmjow' she whispered

Sakura just followed Ukitake, she knew if she even glanced back she would lose it and breakdown.... she had to be strong, Starrk wouldnt of wanted her to end up a mess.




Grimmjow gently cupped her cheek and kissed her.

Ukitake led her away towards a safer place unsure of what to say


Ayame kissed him back, she could quite happily die right now

Sakura moved hugging Ukitake as she cried into his chest... she just needed a shoulder to cry on.




"Well it was nice knowing yu Ayame... i understand take good care of yourself ya hear" Kensei replied, "And you look after her or i will punch you so hard that you wont even know whats hit you"

Grimmjow looked at Kensei... he wasnt that bad.

"Laters, best go find Shinji" Kensei waved moving away quickly as it hurt.

Ukitake stroked her hair trying to calm her down even just slightly 'itll be okay,itll be alright'




Ayame closed her eyes tight shut 'i liked him... i just... didnt love him like i love you, i... feel really bad'

Sakura just cried gripping onto him.




Grimmjow smiled, "Im sure it will be fine... but if you wish you can go after him.... it seems the war has moved on... well Aizen is gone"

Ukitake hugged her tight and said nothing more




Ayame shook her head 'im .. content here with you'

Sakuras cries had slowly died down.

"Ukitake... they are starting to return" Shunsui said glancing at Sakura.




Grimmjow smiled and hugged her, "Lets go find a place just for us"

Ukitake picked Sakura up in his arms 'then we leave'




Ayame nodded 'just me and you eh'

Sakura didnt let go of him.




"Just you and me against the world baby" Grimmjow smiled.

Ukitake flashstepped off with her



Ayame smiled ever so slightly 'yeah... yeah why not'

Sakura glanced back at the scene where Starrks body was but it had gone.



Grimjow chuckled taking her hand and moving, "Come on"

Ukitake just held her taking her back to soul society



Ayame followed him 'im coming im coming'

Sakura looked down at the hands in her lap btting her lip trying not to cry but the tears where already falling.



Grimmjow smiled, "Ahhh see now we get to see light and day"
