The Life of Geisha

"Sit down" Akito stated his hand pointing to the chair beside him it sounded like an order but he did mean it nicely.


Koyuki moved to the room opening the door for him, "I am sorry you have had to wait for me.... thank you for such a compliment" she smiled.

Yuki moved sitting down 'ahh im sorry Akito-sama, i didnt mean to make you uncomfortable, i simply wished to observe your magnificent gardens'


Kenki moved in his cheeky smile still held in place 'my dear, i would have happily waited a thousand more years as long as i knew i would see your face at the end, if only for a moment' he clearly didnt seem like a man of nobility

Akito nodded once simply to her.


Koyuki blushed slightly as she closed the door she offered him a drink her eyes shinning with so much happiness than before.

Yuki could not be herself with this man, she was covered with her mask, these beautiful kimonos he wished to see her in, this wasnt her at all, this was Yuki the Geisha



Kenki sat down 'ahhh thank you, now, do me a favour Koyuki, tell me your real name, i know your sister was called Yuki, clearly your parents didnt give you a name to match hers, i know how the geisha system works... dont worry, i only wish to call you by your name when we are alone' the only other person who had ever called Koyuki by her other name, these days, was Yuki

Akito was drinking his tea in the cool air. "Perhaps tomorrow we should go out"



Koyuki blushed bright red but also held a hint of sadness in her eyes she missed her sister dearly, "My sister... is the only one who calls me by such" she whispered biting her lip. "M-My name is Kamoku" she finished.

Yuki looked over him 'would that please you Akito-sama?'



'Kamoku huh' Kenki smiled 'my my what a beautiful name, do you mind if i call you by your name, when we are alone only of course' he noticed she looked slightly sad but he wouldnt say a thing about Yuki, he didnt want to upset her further

Akito nodded, "It would"


"If... you would like to" Koyuki whispered as she smiled. "Would you like me to play for you?" she offered her happiness returning.

Yuki smiled 'then i too would enjoy it' she would play along with his love game as long as she had to



'no no no' Kenki smirked slightly 'ive heard such great things about your dancing, i wish to see it myself, if you would allow me the pleasure'

Akito smiled relaxing, "If you would like anything whilst we are there all you have to do is ask"


Koyuki's blush deepened, "You... have seen me dance b-before" she stuttered slightly.

Yuki smiled though as usual it never reached her eyes 'oh Akito-sama, that is most gracious of you'


'ah ah ah' Kenki smirked 'i saw you moving... i want to see you dancing' he stood himself up 'and surely one can only dance with a partner.. isnt that so?' he knew noble men just didnt do this, but he had never let slip who he was

Akito smiled, "But of course... i heard you received gifts from high paying customers... i wish to replace them with my own... you are mine... my lover here to give me beautiful heirs and serve me like a wife should"


Koyuki slowly stood up she looked rather bashful for once as she moved over to dance with him.

Yuki kept her smile, but her heart dropped, she had known it all along, this was her life now, to marry a man she held no affection for at all 'oh how sweet of you Akito-sama' she didnt think it was sweet at all, it was his own vanity, his own jealousy


Kenki grasped her hands with abandon, he didnt care about traditional rules of what should and shouldnt be done 'just have fun!'

"We should start planning the wedding" Akito smiled.


Koyuki was blushing but she danced with him smiling.

Yuki knew it had to be done 'ah we should Akito-sama'


Kenki smiled at her he sure looked happy

Akito nodded in response thinking it over.


Koyuki happily danced feeling happy again.

Yuki drank her tea saying nothing


Kenki suddenly stopped 'come with me' he blurted out

Akito sighed to himself, "It will be a big grand wedding"


Koyuki was shocked but followed him unsure of where he was going.

'traditional military wedding, Akito-sama?' Yuki would play her game well 'ahhh i would love to see you in full Samurai robes'


'away forever... i mean' Kenki stated slightly red in the face from saying something like that

Akito nodded smiling, "Indeed"


Koyuki stopped, "I... can't" she whispered.

Kimiko closed her eyes 'now that would be a sight to behold, Akito-sama'


'of course you can!... im richer than i look... ill pay for you' Kenki smiled hoping shed agree 'im a war lord, just like the man that bought your sister'

Akito chuckled, "Of course dear... as will you be with your wedding gown"


Koyuki looked down, "Please... don't waste your money on me... you could get someone of better quality. Someone more beautiful... more talented like my sister!" she replied softly. "And she said she would come back for me... what if she does and i am not here"

'ah well you have bestowed gifts on me already' Yuki smiled 'but i will not make you look bad, i will be every bit as beautiful as i can be beside you'


Kenki pulled up her chin a little rougher than he had meant to, though not enough to hurt her 'dont ever put yourself down like that... didnt i tell you, i have no interest in other women.... and money! what good is all my money if i cant use it to make you happy?'

Akito smiled, "Ah yes indeed"


Koyuki was at loss for words as she looked at him.

Yuki smiled 'let us go up for the night my Lord, the cold night air is starting to get to me'



Kenki sighed 'ill find your sister... even if you dont come with me... but just to make you happy' he really did adore her and her company

Akito nodded as he stood up and moved inside not holding the door for her.


Koyuki placed her hand over his, "I want to make you happy as well... i will come with you if you are sure your not wasting your money on me" she whispered. "And as for my sister... we could maybe find her together?"
