The Deadly Virus

"I will.... you two stay here.... i will be right back" Seth stated as he moved back to get Alex.


Alice stayed close to Ethan.

Ethan kept Alice behind him



Alex was clearly fighting a losing battle here

Alice shook quietly frightened as she heard a crash not too far from them.


Seth moved in kicking the creature down taking Alex's hand and pulling her with him quickly.

Ethan pulled her behind him more


Alex gladly accepted his help and moved with him, she was slightly slower than him due to her injured leg

Two creatures appeared one from each end of the alley leaving them two in the middle, Alice clung to Ethan scared.


Seth tried to remember were he had left the other two as he pulled Alex along with him.

'Fuck!' Ethan shouted reaching for his own small gun


Alex tripped slightly from the pain in her leg, she let go of his hand and stood up herself 'go on ahead'

Alice was frightened she didnt know what to do as the creatures just kept coming ready to attack.


"No..." Seth stated he hoisted her up slightly she she was partly over his shoulder and could use the other leg to walk the one that was fine.

Ethan tried to keep calm but his hand shook slightly as he shot

'go if youve left them alone! ill catch up' Alex stated

One of the creatures lunged for Alice biting her on her leg making her scream in pain.

The other creature tried to attack Ethan.


"SHIT" Seth shouted as he heard the scream he moved quickly trying to find where the sound came from.

Ethan shot at the one coming at him 'FUCK FUCK FUCK'


Alex tried to move faster

Alice fell to the ground she was loosing a lot of blood but none of the effects had started.

Seth moved into the alley killing off the other creatures, "What happened?" he asked Ethan as he pulled Ethan back away from Alice just incase.

Ethan sighed 'two of them at the same time.... fuck i got her bitten... FUCK'

Alex was just around the corner, she wouldnt go where they could see her being weak, she slid to the floor with the effort of walking

"Why isnt she changing?... that bite was more than enough to make a drastic change... nothing is happening" Seth stated watching her closely.

Alice was just shaking her face showed clear pain from the wound, "It hurts" she whispered, "Make it stop"

"ALEX... YOU NEED TO SEE THIS" Seth shouted.

Ethan just looked so confused 'can i treat her?'

Alex pulled herself up slowly 'im coming' she gritted her teeth moving trying not to look in pain

"I dont know" Seth stated, "Alex... we have witnessed bites just like this... and the effects started almost immediately.... why isnt it happening to her?"

Alice's breathing was labored it was clear nothing was happening to her just the fact she was loosing a lot of blood.

'i dont know' Alex stated trying to think

'she must be immune!' Ethan stated rushing over to her to bandage her up

"Shit.... that creature i killed was the one that bit her... look its fucking turning human...." Seth was wide eyed, "Though the human is dead... she reverted it... Alex... this is our breakthrough"

Alice let her eyes close her breathing slow.

Alex was in far too much pain to really concentrate 'uh we.. better get her to the safe zone...'

Ethan looked up from his work 'Ryder?...you okay?'

"Let me see to that leg" Seth stated seriously.

Alex nodded, very slowly, she looked pale

Ethan returned his thoughts to Alice, though he tried to block out that it was a girl and that it was the cure

Seth moved over to her and checked over the wound.

Alex moved her hand to rest on his shoulder closing her eyes, usually she wouldnt do anything like that and just snap that she was fine


Ethan was finished keeping the wound closed 'we gotta move'

Seth cleaned the wound gently and wrapped it up properly, "Try not to put too much weight on it" he stated as he stood back up, "Ethan is right.... we need shelter for the night"

when Seths back was turned Alex wiped the sweat from her head

Ethan picked up Alice

Seth moved out of the alley checking the coast was clear, "Right coast is clear" he stated before he moved back to Alex pulling her so she was leaning on his shoulder slightly.
