Tseng opened the doors and walked in 'Ariana'

Ariana didnt look around, she knew that voice 'what do you want?'

Iris followed Tseng inside wondering how he knew her.

Cloud stood up eyeing up Tseng.

Tseng sighed 'come on now'

Ariana stood up 'im not going with you' she grabbed Clouds hand and pulled him into the back room of the church to run up the stairs

Iris looked at Tseng waiting for orders.

Cloud ran with her.

Tseng moved 'follow her.... do NOT kill her'

Ariana moved up the stairs quickly once they were up there, she cast a fire spell knocking down some crates to block the way

Iris moved after them she stopped pushing Tseng back letting the crates fall down past them before it was safe to move.

Cloud looked at Ariana, "What does he want from you?"

Ariana moved quickly 'my life' she stated jumping up onto the beams 'hurry'

Tseng sighed 'let her go....' he'd be back for her, at least now he knew that she hadnt been injured

Cloud followed her, "Why?"

Iris nodded in response... she had saved him from injuries that was good enough for her.

Ariana glanced back 'you know who they arent dont you?' she was sitting on the roof of the church



Tseng moved muttering 'why is she so resistant, i wanted to check she was unharmed, the explosion was just above her church'

"Turks" Cloud stated.


Iris nodded thinking.... maybe he had personal connections with her outside of work... she knew she shouldn't be jealous but she was.

Ariana nodded 'exactly' she stood up to move across the rooftops 'i need to go home, you... you look strong, escort me'


Tseng sighed moving back 'lets see how the idiots are doing'

Cloud nodded, "Fine"



Iris sighed, "Yeah..."

Ariana moved through the rubble on the rooftops alot slower than he could



Tseng spoke as he walked 'that girl you saw today, she is very important, she must be protected... do you understand'

Cloud moved at her pace waiting for her.



Iris felt her heart drop even more, "I... see..." she replied slowly, "She must mean a lot to you"

Ariana got to a bit she couldnt jump, he was just ahead of her, she held out her hand for him to help her up


Tseng sighed 'yes' he had known her since childhood, knew what she was, he believed she would save the world one day

Cloud helped her up gently.



Iris pushed her hair back behind her ear and walked infront, "I will do my best" she stated firmly before they rejoined with Reno and Rude... she hid the hurt in her eyes.

Ariana moved as though she hadnt needed help at all


Tseng moved 'well i hope they have found more clues'

Cloud moved on.



"The hair i found at the scene matched that of the young man next to the girl" Iris stated.

Rude was just sitting down relaxing.

Ariana sat down to get lower before she slid down to the ground



'we dont know that for fact though' Tseng stated then he looked up 'what if he takes Ariana hostage'

Reno laughed 'boss it could be any blonde man...'

Cloud turned and looked at her wondering what was wrong.



Iris sighed, "Of course" she looked away just distracting herself.

Rude nodded.

Ariana looked to the left 'thats where im going.... through the ruined playground'



Reno sighed 'you worry about her too much... i know i know i get why.. dont beat yourself up okay... hes dead'

Tseng sighed... he had a promise

Cloud nodded and moved to follow her.



Iris just placed a hand on her arm looking away and at the reactor.

Rude nodded.

Ariana moved into the playground slowly



Tseng sighed 'dont talk about him'

Reno sighed holding up his hands 'got it... got it'

Cloud followed her in silence looking around.



Iris just kept her eyes on the reactor, "Is work done for today?" she asked.

Rude looked at Tseng hoping he could go.

Ariana stopped and turned around 'are you a SOLDIER' she asked quickly, he had the same eyes


Tseng moved 'yes'

Reno followed him 'hey Tseng man... i didnt mean any harm... just... you gotta let go of the past, hes dead now, that promise means nothing'

'that promise means EVERYTHING' Tseng stated without looking back as he walked away
