'alright well i guess only Neji gets to eat...' Kakashi smiled passing Neji a bento 'i want you to sit in the middle of them and eat it all, do not give them any and do not untie them, ill see you in 20 minutes' with that he was gone

Ayame looked at Neji she knew now he hadnt said those things at all, but did he think it maybe

Neji waited until he was sure Kakashi had gone, "I could not do that to either of you... would you like any?"

Hyoki shook her head she had lost her appetite, still shaken though she knew Ayame was not dead it was hard to tell reality from dream or illusion.

Ayame shook her head 'i ate before give it to Hyoki, she didnt eat at lunch' she was still so shaken


Kakashi was watching, so Neji had offered his teammates

Neji sighed softly, "Are you both sure?"

"I... lost my appetite" Hyoki whispered keeping her head down to hide the fear on her face.

"Well if neither of you are eating... then i shan't... its cruel" Neji replied placing the bowl down and folding his arms.

Ayame watched him, when she did she heard the same lines repeated over and over again
you are weak, you are nothing, insignificant

Kakashi smiled slightly he would go back in exactly 20 minutes to see if Neji would give in to hunger

Neji sat there in silence with his arms folded not touching it.

Hyoki closed her eyes trying not to think about it she was shaking slightly.

Ayame knew he thought you really couldnt change your fate it was well known he believed that 'fate huh'


Kakashi was watching, he knew it would take awhile to get over, but they would learn not to be so easily shocked

Neji sighed, "Indeed"

Hyoki kept her eyes closed staying quiet.

Kakashi counted down to time up before he came out 'not eating Neji?'

Ayame closed her eyes did he really think that of her

Neji shook his head in response.

Hyoki did not lift her gaze all that time.

Kakeshi smiled under his mask 'why not?'

Ayame would prove them wrong... well she would try to, but they were all greater than her

"Because they have lost there appetite and i feel its not fair" Neji explained.

Hyoki just listened keeping her head down with her eyes closed.

'thats the spirit' Kakashi sounded happy

Ayame looked up 'what?'

'its all about team bonding, you need to see each other as team mates, friends for life' Kakashi smiled moving to untie Hyoki first

Neji moved untying Ayame seeing as Kakashi was doing the same to Hyoki.

Ayame fell slightly into his arms by accident

Kakashi dusted Hyoki off 'there we go, you are a good team'

Neji helped her up, "Are finished here Kakashi Sensei?" he was sure the girls wanted to leave and get some space.

Hyoki still kept her head down she was sure Kakashi would of felt her shakes.

'yes take the rest of the day off, ill meet you for training tomorrow' Kakashi nodded

Ayame just nodded she felt slightly belittled

"Perhaps you girls would like to come for a drink?" Neji replied.

Hyoki shook her head, "No thank you" she replied before moving off fairly quickly.

Ayame looked up 'maybe i should'


Kakashi moved he would leave the team to bond

Neji nodded, "Lets get something to eat as well perhaps" he suggested to her.


Hyoki moved to her home shutting the door behind her she knew she shouldn't let it get to her but she was still getting over seeing the deaths of people she hardly knew let alone a team mate. She knew it was an illusion deep down but it was hard to shake.

Ayame nodded 'yeah... lets do that'



Kakashi felt so bad for Hyoki so he moved to apologise, she had taken it worse than he had suspected

Neji smiled slightly and moved to take her to the place they always went.


Hyoki sat down on her bed fiddling with her hands shaking.

Ayame moved with him she wanted to take her mind off it

Kakashi moved knocking on her door

Neji held open the door for her.


Hyoki looked up hearing the door go unsure of if she should answer it.

Ayame moved in 'thanks'


Kakashi just waited sighing
