Ichijou moved off to help Aido.


"I am rather drained" Isis sighed.

Rin moved to her own room to read the book she should have read last night


Kaname moved 'lets return then shall we'

Isis nodded, "I think i shall get some rest" she smiled she kissed his cheek. "Goodnight"

a few months passed by Rin was sitting in the main room, her sister was there too, it was after class, she had noticed how her mothers letters had stopped recently, she was concerned about it

Kaname was sitting in the room too drinking pseudo-blood

Isis had been happy with Kaname they had taken it real slow. They had not shared each others blood or been intimate. But she was content with his company until she was ready to take the next step. The pseudo blood had not been working for her for a while now but she assumed that was because she craved his. She was over joyed about not getting letters.

Ichijou was reading his new book he had gotten from the library.

Rin broke the silence 'Isis.. no letters again today' of course her and Ichijou had been quite intimate, though since the first night, they were usually much more careful, only taking blood where noone could smell it, usually outside of the nightdorms.. and being alot quieter

Kaname looked up slightly

"I am thankful for that" Isis smiled sitting back in her chair happily.

Ichijou carried on reading.

'it does not bode well with me' Rin stated slowly

Kaname sighed 'its not that big of a deal...'

"You find everything suspicious" Isis chuckled. "she is probably busy making father redecorate. You know what she is like for changing the rooms around"

Ichijou was just listening he did not speak.

'it still doesnt sit right with me' Rin sighed she was at least 1000 years older than her sister, which was 1000 or so years more experience knowing the way their mother worked

Kaname shrugged 'im sure Isis is right'

'Kaname, thank you for your input' Rin smiled, though it was unlike her usual smile, this was a warning for him to keep his nose out, but in public she was always a perfect person

Isis sighed, "It's probably nothing i would not worry yourself over it"

"Worry yourself over what?" Takeshi stated from the doorway he had been dragged on visiting his children.

Ichijou looked up who was that man?.

Rin shot her sister a look as if to say 'i told you so' 'ahhh Father!'

Kanae waved 'yooohoooo'

Rin knew this was coming 'mother, what a pleasant surprise' she kept her smile, only Isis would know her true feelings, and maybe Ichijou could sense it a little, she had warned him time and time about her parents finding out whenever he grew a little impatient with their secret love affair

"Mother... father what are you doing here?" Isis asked she was in complete shock. Why were they here?.

Ichijou gave a small waved from his book.

Takeshi smiled, "Your mother decided she wanted to drop by i was happy with re arranging the whole home instead"

Isis smiled slightly she was closer to her father than her mother.

'i was just saying how worried i was, we had not received any letters' Rin half smiled

Kanae moved 'ah ah ahhhh' she sat down near Kaname 'well you must be Kaname Kuran... hmmm id heard you were dating my daughter.. of course we know the Kurans, but we wanted to see you right away to approve your marriage to my daughter... didnt we dear?'

Kaname was looking up at the woman in slight surprise, was this serious

"Ah yes of course" Takeshi smiled he approved of the man but he did not think Kaname would of fallen for his youngest. He honestly thought he would of gone for Rin his eldest.

Isis paled, "Wait what?... No no we are only dating nothing serious" she whispered. She was scared of the next step in the relationship and this was why.

Ichijou had his eyes opened to how their parents were. He now understood why Rin wanted it a secret.

'oh nonsense, if you didnt like him you wouldnt date him, simple' Kanae stated 'hes fine isnt he Takeshi' she smiled happily

Kaname stood up slowly extending his hand to Takeshi for a handshake, he didnt know what else to do 'pleasure to meet you both'

Rin stood simply so she didnt sit too close to Ichijou making them pounce on her, she had been careful because she knew what they were like

Takeshi smiled shaking his hand, "Likewise"

"We are still young we have plenty of time to get married. We should finish our education first" Isis replied she grasping at straws.

Ichijou placed his book down just watching he side glanced Rin.

'ahhhh im so proud' Kanae smiled she was ignoring Isis 'Rin why couldnt you find a man'

Rin kept her smile 'ahh mother it will happen in time.. these things do'

Kaname glanced slightly at Ichijou, as if to tell him he knew about him and Rin... but, he would not say, he feared Isis wouldnt forgive him if he did

Isis closed her eyes soon she would start talking of children. Why did this have to happen. She should of asked Kaname if they could of kept it quiet like Rin and Ichijou.

Takeshi smiled, "Do not worry our eldest just has to find the right man. Someone i approve of"

Ichijou gulped what if her father never approved of him. He returned to his book.

Rin watched her sisters face she knew she didnt want this

Kanae waved it off 'oh well... soooo we have a wedding to plan, and then grandchildren! oh i can see it now, beautiful babies they would produce hmmmmm'

Kaname coughed slightly covering up his surprise he had almost choked

Isis stood up, "That's taking it a step too far you know i do not want children!" everything to her was falling apart. Sure she loved Kaname but she wanted to do this in her own time maybe him him ask her in a romantic way not being forced by parents.

Takeshi sighed, "So how are you Rin?" he asked his other daughter knowing his wife would no doubt go off on one.

Ichijou paled behind his book her parents were going so far... would they of done this to him and Rin?.

Rin stayed near her father 'i am fine, father, it is nice to see you in person once more' she tried to say distracted

Kanae placed her hand over her eyes 'ohhhh how you would hurt me... break my heart, my own daughter would deny me grandchild when she FINALLY finds a man! ohhhh how could she break her mothers heart so'

Kaname would try to appease this he put his arm around Isis 'now now, thats not true, it will just take time, im sure your mother doesnt mean she wants children nine months after marriage' he was just trying to get this to calm down

Kanae looked up dabbing her dry eyes with a cloth 'so you will have children?'

"Ah yes well your mother wanted me to come along and i could not say no it would mean i get to see my children again" Takeshi smiled.

"When the time is right.... i guess we will have maybe a child" Isis spoke slowly. She could not believe Kaname was putting up with this he was a pureblood.

Ichijou stayed hiding behind his book he was thanking Rin that this was kept a secret.

Kanae smiled 'ohh well then we can start planning the wedding, we have a few days to get the arrangements just right!'

'are you staying?' Rin asked looking slightly fearful

Kaname smiled at Isis, he just wanted her to be happy and he would put up with this if it would appease her overly dramatic mother and make things less stressful for Isis

Takeshi shook his head, "She expects you to come back with us and help plan the wedding"

"A few days?" Isis questioned why would it only take a few days did she want them married by next week?.

Ichijou turned the pages of his book silently.
