"Your in for it... hes going for you" Angeal whispered into Zacks ear.

Genesis stayed quiet.

Madeline also stayed quiet standing just behind Sephiroth, but in view of the others.

Payne stood up and started the simulation to the edge of the Junon cannon, everyone could see it

'ahhh the old place' Sephiroth sighed

Zack just meeped slightly

Angeal and Genesis stood together waiting to behind.

Madeline stayed where she was out of the way but she could still see what was going on.

Payne took out her sword 'so, whos gonna play with me?'

Zack shook his head frantically

Genesis drew his sword, "that would be me" he said.

Angeal pointed his sword at Zack looking deadly serious.



Madeline just watched.

Payne smiled 'well well Genesis' she drew her sword 'or should i call you lieutenant?'

Zack took a step back 'eh cant i just watch'


Sephiroth was interested in watching Zacks performance, he had seen Payne and Genesis sword play before

"Either is preferable" Genesis replied.

"Afraid not" Angeal replied.

Madeline looked at each member and that was when her eyes layed on the newbie... he looked rather young to be SOLDIER.

Payne held her sword up infront of her face 'do the honours?' she smiled

Zack pulled out his sword, he was try but there was no way hed win

'what do you think' Sephiroth asked her

Genesis nodded his head to her before he moved to attack with his sword.


Angeal waited for him to move first.



"He looks really young" Madeline replied as she watched him.

Rayne blocked, smiling 'ahhhh as fierce as always' it was like they were having a friendly chat

Zack gulped but then ran at him, trying to attack, but keeping his focus

'maybe a little too young' Sephiroth stated

"My soul, corrupted by vengeance, Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey. In my own salvation" Genesis spoke as he attacked her.


Angeal blocked his attack before he moved and attacked him.


"There must have been something if he was promoted... age is not the problem" Madeline replied.

'and your enternal slumber!' Payne half growled attacking him back, locking their swords 'loveless act... four'

Zack moved out of the way, if nothing he could dodge


'we will see' Sephiroth stated 'Angeal recommended him'

"You remembered?" Genesis replied as he aimed a fire blast at her.

Angeal moved quick and attacked.


Madeline looked at Agneal then at Zack, "I think if anything be the boys downfall it will be his nerves in trying to impress you" she replied looking up at Sephiroth, "You are a hard man to please"

Payne jumped out of the way backflipping and landing gracefully 'how can i not, youve beaten it into our heads'

Zack gritted his teeth trying to block the attack


Sephiroth ignored the comment and looked over at Payne and Genesis 'must they always play'

Genesis ran his hand down his sword as it glowed red slightly and he jumped forward attacking her.


Angeal pulled back and went in for another attack.


"They always are like that" Madeline smiled as she watched the fights.

Payne pulled out her second sword and crossed them, catching his blade between them

Zack blocked the attack, it was taking so much energy to just block he had no time to attack


'they arent even trying' Sephiroth remarked 'thats no training'

Genesis moved with tracting his sword before he attacked.


Angeal was basically only needing to attack and not block.


"Then why dont you join in" Madeline suggested.

Payne dodged with ease and smiled lowering her swords 'such a man eh'


Zack was looking for openings but it appeared Angeal had none

Sephiroth sighed 'i dont think so, this is no time to play'

"One becomes a hero, one wanders the land And the last is taken prisoner" Genesis stated as he waited for her to attack.


Angeal kept attacking Zack aiming one of them at his torso.


Madeline returned her attention to the fight silent.

'if we were to enact it, would i play the hero... or would you' Payne smirked

Zack shielded himself with his sword


Sephiroth stood up 'and they return to banter'

"Me of course" Genesis replied.


Angeal pushed down on his sword.



Madeline just watched her eyes mainly went to the new boy.

'and then what of i?' Payne asked stowing her swords away swiftly


Zack had gritted teeth trying to find a way to overpower the older, stronger man


Sephiroth stood with his arms crossed

"The wanderer... i picture you as the wanderer the one that wanders the land" Genesis replied putting his sword away.


Angeal was being a bit hard on Zack but he had to learn.


Madeline rubbed her eyes she felt a sneeze coming on.

Payne smiled 'at least im not the prisioner'


Zack jumped back panting hard, there was no way he could keep this up

Sephiroth moved between them 'enough Angeal, i do not wish him to pass out on the first day'

"Unless you wanted to be" Genesis replied.


"You brought a nurse" Angeal replied pointing towards Madeline who at that moment in time finally sneezed.
