Final Fantasy

Vincent sighed but didn't move away.



Raven looked away from him, "I..." she felt the tears forming... she couldn't deal with it all.

Rayne stood up slowly to walk again


'you cant give up' Reno sighed 'or else what was all this for!'

Vincent followed... he would all night.



Raven sighed, "Nothing.... it would all of been for nothing...."

Yuffie was behind him 'just leave her'

Rayne wasnt listening she had moved




Reno sighed 'then make it mean something'

Vincent ignored Yuffie and followed Rayne.



Raven sighed, "Its to late"

Yuffie pulled on Vincents arm 'leave her.... your here for avalanche, not for her.... its about time you stopped playing with the kid and came back'


Rayne was ahead now



'its never too late' Reno stated

"Leave it" Vincent stated.


Raven kept her gaze down.

Yuffie kept tight on his arm 'Vincent, you arent here for her... remember that, its sickening to watch you become so weak because of her, you were one of the strongest of us, now you try to control yourself too much, you hold off transforming, even when you are in grave danger, just so you wont hurt her.... your getting weak because of her... maybe too weak to protect her' she knew that would hurt him

Rayne was really ahead now, they could only just see her from where they were



Reno lifted her chin and kissed her lips gently

Vincent froze just listening... that had really got to him.



"Reno you better go before Tseng comes" Raven replied.

Rayne was looking up at the sky

Yuffie looked at Vincent meaningfully 'when we leave, leave her here... its the only way you can protect her' in honesty she just wanted Rayne left



Reno sighed 'i dont want to'

Vincent looked down he wasn't sure.



Raven laughed, "Just like the time in Tsengs office eh?"

Yuffie nodded 'its all you can do, look at yourself, you cant protect her like this, leave her here where its safe'

Rayne was out of sight now



Reno half smiled 'Raven... i love you'

Vincent wasn't sure he couldn't leave her without explaining at least.



Raven smiled, "I love you too" she rubbed her stomach she hadn't been feeling too good for a while she didn't know why. But she knew she was to tired to fight anymore.

Yuffie smirked 'if you tell her, shell only follow... oh.. what if shes killed... it would be all your fault, see its best to leave her.. shes .. just.. a ... kid' she knew he had issues about their age difference already


Reno sighed 'just transfer, he'll let you i promise, ill talk to him'

Vincent sighed heavily he had to... it was for her safety... he nodded silently.



Raven looked at Reno, "Let me talk to Tseng... okay"

Yuffie knew he had planted the idea in his head now 'what if you turn Chaos again, you almost killed her last time'



Reno nodded 'okay sweetheart'

"Will you shut up" Vincent snapped as he walked off.



Raven nodded to him just leaning against the wall.

Yuffie smiled, he would leave her here, she knew he would, it was a touchy subject for him



Reno watched her he wanted to be close

Vincent went to find Rayne.



Raven sighed she rubbed her stomach slightly she felt sick.

Rayne was sitting out in the dark looking over at the sky, her legs were hugged up, she was cold



Reno watched 'you okay'

"Rayne" Vincent called.


"I feel sick" Raven sighed.

Rayne lifted her head she had thought he had gone back


Reno frowned 'what can i do'

"I need to talk to you" Vincent stated.



"I will be fine" Raven smiled, "You know me... i am a fighter"

Rayne looked up 'yeah?' she asked



Reno chuckled 'true very true'

"How would you feel about staying behind?" Vincent asked.



Raven smiled, "Go on Reno... leave before you get into trouble"
