Hyoki smiled she let her fingertips brush against his hand gently, she traced circle happily.


Neji sighed softly, "Are you okay?"

Kakashi gave her a gentle squeeze as she did, he wasnt watching the tv at all... only her


'yeah... im good' Ayame spoke softly, calmly

Hyoki smiled just carrying on she was so much better just because he was not afraid of her and the fact she had pushed it to the back of her mind.


"Do you need anything?" Neji asked watching her carefully.

Kakashi closed his eyes 'stay here tonight'


'no' Ayame smiled, something had definitely changed in her... she could feel her arm stinging, that took away the pain in her heart.... it grounded her, made her feel oddly alive

Hyoki nodded smiling, "If you wish me too... i would like too... though i don't have any clothes on me"


Neji smiled slightly, "Can i come in?"

'we can pick something up from yours if you want... ' Kakashi smiled 'the day is young'


Ayame stood back to let him in, totally not even thinking about the kunai left on the floor

"Ahh yes and then i can tell father i will not be home tonight" Hyoki smiled.


"Training hard was we?" Neji questioned as he looked at the kunai on the floor.

Kakashi suddenly stiffened 'i... i forgot about that...' would this be allowed


Ayame glanced down at Kunai '.....evidently'

Hyoki looked down maybe she should not of said that.


Neji sighed softly, "This is my fault"

'your dad... you think this'll be alright... i should just go out and say it... but i dont want to lose you' Kakashi sighed



Ayame picked up the blade and pushed it into her pouch 'what the i decided to train? how is that a bad thing?... i weigh down the team enough... i might as well be.... stronger' she had almost said gone

"Why would you loose me?" Hyoki asked frowning. "He should be fine with it"


"If it wasn't for me you wouldn't of trained and you wouldn't of got hurt" Neji replied he wasn't stupid but he went along with her little white lie.

Kakashi sighed relief 'just yknow... dads are protective'


'dont be silly... i have to train to get stronger' Ayame stated turning slightly her arm was still throbbing ... it felt slightly good?

"If anything... he will probably be relived its you... your strong and able to protect me... that is his main concern" Hyoki replied softly.


Neji sighed why was she doing this?.

Kakashi laughed 'you think im strong eh? eh?'



Ayame bit her lip when her back was turned she could still feel the cut 'was that all Neji?'

"Oh hush you" Hyoki chuckled kissing his cheek.


"Do you think i am stupid?" Neji replied. "Why are you shutting me out?"

Kakashi chuckled 'well then, let big strong Kakashi walk you home eh' he was teasing her


Ayame covered her ears with her hands, she didnt want to be accused, no matter how true it was

Hyoki blushed, "Eh... ehh..." she nodded slightly.


Neji moved over and pulled her into his arms, "Speak to me" he whispered.

Kakashi stood up holding out his hand for her 'cmon then' he half smirked


'i dont want to!' Ayame exclaimed pushing herself forward slightly even though he was holding her tight

Hyoki took his hand moving with him.


Neji kept the tight hold of her, "I wont let you go until you do"

Kakashi moved out with her, leading the way


Ayame doubled over his arm, leaning over his arm 'just go...' her voice was so soft it might have been a whisper

Hyoki walked with him smiling.

Kurenai was in the living room.


Neji closed his eyes he couldn't leave her.

Kakashi stopped outside her door

Asuma was there, his team were having a day off


Ayame said nothing more she stayed right there

Hyoki opened the door moving inside, "Hey i am back" she called.

Kurenai smiled, "Welcome home" she called.


"Please" Neji whispered.

Asuma looked up at Kakashi walked in 'ohh... brought him back have you'


Ayame just sighed 'Neji.... we're not going to work'

Hyoki blushed slightly looking away, "Does it matter?" she whispered.

Kurenai chuckled she wondered if Asuma had noticed the hands.


"Why?" Neji replied.
