Director Lazard laughed 'well have a nice day boys.... eh.. and Payne' and with that he walked out into the corridor 'ah! Madeline is everything alright? on your end of the job'


Payne stood up 'can i go now Sephiroth'

'your excused if you want to me, but keep your radio on' Sephiroth nodded

Payne just moved out ignoring Lazard

Madeline jumped as she turned around to face him, "Oh Director... yes everything is fine" she smiled.


Genesis watched her leave as he kept in a sigh.

Angeal looked at Sephiroth, "Yeah your right"

Director Lazard smiled 'ahhh well you know where my office is if you need me' he tried not to linger too long


Payne just moved into her bedroom


Sephiroth nodded 'i knew i was, theres something bothering her'

Zack looked down and said nothing, was this his fault?

Madeline nodded, "Thank you, you always do take care of your workers"



Angeal sighed, "I wonder what?"

Genesis pulled out his poem book not saying a word.

'every single one of them' Director Lazard stated before he turned to leave 'have a good day'



Sephiroth sighed 'Genesis was what i was counting on, they talk alot more, i thought youd have an insight Genesis'

Zack knew they did more than just talk

Madie smiled, "You to" she replied politely.




Genesis just read his book.

Angeal sighed, "Why dont you go talk to her Genesis"

Lazard wandered back up to his office upstairs



'talk' Zack whispered mainly to himself

Sephiroth nodded 'yes, Genesis, try to find out whats wrong'

Madie returned to her room.



Genesis stood up, "Okay i will see what i can do"

Angeal smiled and sat back.

Payne was just laying on her bed looking up at the ceiling


Sephiroth sat back relaxing 'you can do what you want today boys, remember, keep your radios on'

Zack nodded and moved out wondering what he should do now, maybe hed visit Madie

Genesis knocked on Paynes door.



Madie sat down at her desk.

"Ahh i will just mooch about" Angeal shrugged.

Payne just had her arm over her eyes 'c'min'

Zack moved over to Madies room, thinking he was just standing outside, wondering if he should

Sephiroth nodded 'do as you like'

Genesis walked inside and shut the door, "How are you feeling?"


Madie moved from her desk and layed down on her bed.

'im just hungover' Payne whispered, she didnt need to look, she knew his voice


Zack finally knocked on the door

"Is that all?" Genesis asked.



Madie sat up on her bed and looked at the door, "Come in"

Payne didnt answer she just looked away



Zack opened the door 'hey there'

"You can tell me" Genesis smiled at her.

Payne turned her head away and sighed 'its nothing'



'well i got a free day, so eh, you wanna do something?' Zack asked

"Its not nothing" Genesis replied.




MAdie smiled and ndoded "Sure"

Payne closed her eyes 'you make me weak'



Zack nodded 'great whered you wanna go'

"Is that such a bad thing?" Genesis asked.



"Ermm im not to bothered" Madie smiled.

Payne sighed 'ive never been weak'



Zack smiled 'walk around Midgar?'

"I wont judge you for it" Genesis smiled.




"Sure" Madie smiled standing up.

Payne sat up 'come on' she opened her wardrobe putting on her leather jacket 'im going out'



Zack smiled 'and we can go for dinner too'

Genesis sighed, "Where?"



Madie nodded as she grabbed a coat to keep her warm.

'dunno' Payne answered as she picked up her keys and stuffed them in her pocket



Zack smiled and walked out of her room
