the bottle fell from her hand as the drugs took effect... right away she slipped under the water




Ichigo laughed 'sounds like an awesome job'

Hiroshi went back to reading his paper.



"There is not much to do with it" Hitohira smiled slightly. She wished there was then it would be the perfect distraction.

the maid tried to open her door after hearing the smash... but it was locked 'Hiroshi-sama!' she shouted fearing something was up

Kimiko was under the water passed out... it wouldnt be long until they could not save her



Ichigo stretched 'then lets go for a walk.. might as well see the sun while its there'

Hiroshi moved quickly, "What is it?" he stated moving to the door.



"I suppose i should check on the barriers" Hitohira replied as she stood up.

'i heard a smash... and shes locked herself in' the maid trembled




Ichigo smiled 'then we can do that'

Hiroshi kicked down the door not taking any chances.


Hitohira smiled and moved from her office.

the maid rushed in and gasped seeing her under the water.. she moved fast to pull her out unsure 'Hiroshi-sama.... Kimiko-sama... is...'




Ichigo followed her 'hey you look good in uniform as well as in fancy kimonos'

"Call fourth right away!" Hiroshi barked at the other maids as he moved over to his granddaughter.



Hitohira smiled, "You are quite the charmer" she chuckled moving to the barriers box noticing how the barrier she had put up around it had gone.

the maid did as asked and informed the 4th

Unohana was there almost in seconds 'i heard' she saw the state of the girl and pulled a towel from the rail 'ill need to take her in... now' she wrapped Kimiko up in a towel so she wouldnt get colder outside 'inform Byakuya' she took Kimiko right away to have her in the fourth, she was no longer suffocating but she had clearly taken alcohol and drugs by the look of the bathroom

at the same time the maid found the note and handed it to Hiroshi



Ichigo half laughed 'well... you are... very pretty'

Hiroshi took the note and crumpled it in his hand and stormed out, "I will inform him myself" he stated. He was not happy.

Byakuya was working away.



"Ahh such a compliment... why thank you" Hitohira smiled as she adjusted the barrier strength chuckling. "Oh Mayuri when will you learn not to tamper with my barrier" she locked up the box again and moved to the edge of it, "Give me just a second" she stated as she used her kido and made it stronger. Though Mayuri had not meant to weaken it he was curious.

Unohana already had her in the fourth laying on a bed... Kimiko was soaked through her wet black hair was clinging to her face.. Unohana had to try to at least get some of the water out of her lungs she set about to do that now



Ichigo smiled 'look at that.... kido... i could never get that... all i have is my sword really'

"YOU!" Hiroshi shouted as he stormed inside Byakuyas office chucking the note at him. "I hope you are happy she is lying in fourth dying and Unohana is trying to save her!"

Byakuya read the note he had caused this.



Hitohira chuckled and moved back, "The only problem is using too much kido burns your hands" she showed him her own hands but healed them soon after.

Unohana sighed using her kido... what could have pushed such a powerful woman to do this to herself



Ichigo looked slightly worried 'doesnt that hurt you?'

Byakuya stood up.

"DONT. YOU. DARE. GO. SEE. HER!" Hiroshi snapped he looked at Ginrei who just came in and stormed out in response.



Hitohira nodded smiling, "But you get used to it... my own zapackuto hurts me in shikai form..."

Ginrei looked so confused 'what the hell is going on?'



Ichigo looked confused 'why would your own sword hurt you?' he didnt get it but if that was the case... he would make sure she never had to use it

Byakuya passed Ginrei the note, "Its my fault.... she tried to kill herself"



Hitohira chuckled, "I am unsure myself... right my duty is done for the day" she smiled a little colour had drained from her face after using such a powerful kido.

Ginrei looked up at his grandson 'tell me you didnt hurt her... please tell me you didnt hurt her?' everyone knew no matter how much Kimiko thought they didnt... everyone knew that all she wanted was his love



Ichigo touched her cheek 'it takes it out of you... yeah?'

Byakuya looked away slightly he had hurt her. Badly... had she found out what yesterday was?.



Hitohira nodded, "It does but it keeps the Soul Society safe from hollow attacks. So for everyones safety i do not mind paying the price"

Ginrei moved 'come Byakuya' he was going to make him see her... make Byakuya finally realise what he was doing to her


Ichigo looked up 'let me in your squad.... ill support you!'

Byakuya slowly moved with Ginrei he felt terrible.



Hitohira chuckled, "I can't unless you pass the test... and you said yourself you can not do kido"

Ginrei moved to the fourth ... Unohana was just leaving her room when she saw them she opened the door a little more so they could go in

inside Kimiko lay her clothes had been changed but her black hair was still wet, it stuck to the pale skin of her neck and face messily... she was almost still apart from her very shallow breathing tubes fed her oxygen directly through her nose.. her skin was much paler than usual she had almost lost her life



'no... i dont want to support the kido squad.... i want to support you... ill protect you, so that you never have to raise a blade never have to use kido unless it is for the safety of all' Ichigo looked up at her 'ill be your sword' he was deadly serious

Byakuya looked away he had caused this... she was there because of him. He sat down on the chair he would not leave until she woke.


Hitohira smiled, "You are so very sweet... but... i can protect myself" she placed her hand on his shoulder gently.

Ginrei sighed he would leave them... surely Byakuya could not hurt her after seeing her like this

it wouldnt be long until Kimiko woke.. her stomach had been pumped




'i dont care if you can' Ichigo sighed 'i want to'

Byakuya would wait until she did.


Hitohira smiled, "Alright... i will let you"

it was not long until slowly Kimiko opened her eyes the first sign of any life was that she coughed, it was croaked and made her chest jump she did not know there was anyone in the room at all... she didnt even know where she was


Ichigo smiled 'promise ill do a good job'
