Damien smiled and bowed, "It is i, i am sorry about leaving earlier yesterday... but my brother was in a spot of trouble"



"I dont know" Pandora sighed looking down at her drink.

Lucretia watched him 'you.. werent invited... i checked the guest list for your name...' she trailed off, realising it sounded like she was desperate to see him again


'allow me that pleasure, Miss Cinders' Halo smiled his most charming smile

"Ahh you are mistaken, i was you must of overlooked me" damien smiled his most charming smile at her.





"No, i really do have to go" Pandora replied as she timidly looked up at him before she bowed and moved away.

Lucretia's eyes darted over his face 'i...' she didnt dare say she had checked it more than once 'i.. guess i must have'




Halo sighed
why the fuck isnt she affected ... how can she so easily walk away from me!

"So how are you this fine evening" Damien asked.




Pandora moved back beside her father smiling like nothing had happened, she was still in sight of Halo.

Lucretia looked away 'im great, thank you for asking' though it was lies, her music spoke the truth, not her mouth, she longed to die



Halo moved after her, he wouldnt give up 'Miss Cinders!'

"Then why was your music so.... mournful" Damien asked.



Pandora turned to face where the voice had called her from.

Lucretia smiled, keeping her appearance like she should 'it was only a song' though she knew in her heart it meant so much more to her than anything, she was lonely, and hiding behind a mask of lies



Halo took her hand and kissed the back of it gently, pulling his handkerchief from his suit pocket 'then at least take a token from me, to remind you of our meetings'

"A Fair young lady should not hide behind a mask of lies" Damien replied.



"Ahh thank you kind sir" Pandora smiled as she placed the handkerchief back in his hand, "But you may need it"

'and handsome young men should not pry too deeply' Lucretia stated, she knew she would be punished if she spoke out of turn with any of the guests, it was too much risk



Halo shook his head 'this one is specially for you, i will not use it'

"Ahh but of course" Damien smiled "Maybe another time?"



Pandora smiled softly, "Then if it is your wish i will keep it" she stated before she bowed to him and walked off yet again.

'before the rose wilts?' Lucretia breathed out




Halo sighed watching her leave, he scratched the back of his head and turned to another woman, smiling at her, the woman flushed and almost fainted
nope.. im not broken.... what the hell is up with her

"When it does i shall pick you another" Damien smiled "So it never wilts"



Pandora noticed her father who was talking with Edward from yesterday and joined in their conversation.

Lucretia's chest heaved slightly 'ah.. why would you trouble yourself'


Edward took her hand and kissed it 'ahhh i was just enquiring about your whereabouts' he smiled


Halo watched her she was a strange girl

"To see such a beautiful smile on a beautiful girl" Damien smiled kissing the back of her hand as he edged nearer.



Pandora smiled a faint blush setting on her cheeks,"I just went to get a drink, how have you been this fine evening?"

Lucretia froze watching him, there was something about him that excited her



Edward smiled 'my mood has been greatly improved now'



Halo shattered the glass in his hand with a firm grip seeing her blush
at a fucking human!

"So how has your evening been today?" Damien asked.



Pandora chuckled, "Ahh might i say you know your way with words"

Lucretia looked away over the gardens 'it has been wonderful' once again she was lying



Edward smiled 'only when i am met with such beauty'


Halo was fuming, he brushed the glass from his coat and walked away to get more alcohol

"But of course" Damien smiled knowing the real truth.




Pandora smiled, "Ah it was ncie to see you again, if you will excuse me i will just go get a drink" she she stated before moving away.

Lucretia stole a glance at him 'when will i see you again?' she whispered 'after tonight'



Edward smiled and bowed letting her leave

"That i can not answer but i assure you will shall meet again soon" Damien smiled.



Pandora had left them and got another glass of water.

Lucretia was excited 'before the rose wilts' she whispered


Halo moved behind her 'back again are we?' he smiled

"but of course" Damien smiled.




Pandora turned, "Oh no i was just getting a glass of water" she smiled.

Lucretia felt a bit awkward, but she didnt want to leave



'and there i thought you were seeking my company' Halo sighed

"So, this evening is pretty beautiful tonight, but only because im looking at sch a beauty" Damien smiled.



Pandora picked up a glass of water before she smiled at Halo, "I'm sure there are other women who would give you company"
