the maid knocked on the door gently to see if she was awake



Lucretia sat up yawning 'come in come in'

There was no answer from inside.




The maid walked inside and bowed her head, "What would you like to wear today?"

the maid knocked again a little louder


'anything' Lucretia sighed, she would be forced into a dress later on anyways

"Come in" Pandora sighed waking up, she sat up in bed rubbing her eyes.



The maid moved and brought out a dress for her to wear.

the maid walked in 'ma'am im here to dress you'



Lucretia just moved to let her dress her

Pandora nodded and moved out of bed, not letting go of her fathers jacket.



The maid moved dressing her.

the maid smiled 'you cna wear whatever you want'



Lucretia just stood there

"I do not mind what i wear today" Pandora replied softly.




The maid soon had her dressed, "Breakfast has been served in the dinning room"

the maid moved and dressed her 'your father told me that theres a party tonight, do you still wish to go'



Lucretia sighed 'okay'

Pandora nodded, "I shall go" she thought it was wise it would take her mind of things.




The maid moved downstairs to make the drinks.

the maid bowed as she moved to dress her 'grand idea'



Lucretia just moved downstairs

Pandora stayed quiet looking down.




The maid was cleaning the dishes.

the maid soon had her all dressed 'ill prepare breakfast'




Lucretia sat down slowly ignoring her parents as they ignored her

"I am not hungry, do not worry about it" Pandora replied softly.



Bartholomew was reading the paper.

'tea ma'am?' the maid asked



Lucretia didnt even move she didnt know why she bothered coming down

Pandora shook her head, "No thank you"




Bartholomew looked at his daughter, "Tonight is a very important party... it is mainly about parents marrying off there son or daughters so i expect you to be engaged by the end of today" he stated.

the maid smiled 'anything else ma'am'


Lucretia looked up and smiled 'yes father'
i wont be here

Pandora shook her head, "I think i will just go play the piano" she replied.




Bartholomew nodded, "I expect to her of a few proposals and you are to choose one and come and inform us... make sure he is wealthy at least"

the maid bowed 'alright miss, call for me'


'of course father' Lucretia was amused at this

Pandora moved to the grand piano running her fingers across the keys sighing before she started to play.




Bartholomew nodded to her, "Your mother has personally bought you a new dress for this night"

the maid moved off to do her duties



Lucretia nodded 'thank you mother'

Pandora just played her song, not sure what to do with her life anymore.




"The maid will come dress you later, go to your room and practice the violin" Bartholomew stated.

Lucretia stood up 'yes father, may i have some tea brought up to the room'

Pandora just played.





Bartholomew nodded to her.

Lucretia went up to her room, she spent pretty much the rest of the day playing her violin, her bittersweet tunes
