The Four Noble Clans

Hitohira had been getting much better she was happy and she had forgiven Cho and thanked her for doing what she did. For the party she had bought a beautiful kimino and was getting ready making an effort.

Byakuya was already at her manor he had of course brought his family along.

Kimiko was dressed beautifully, but not in her usual regalia, she had left her hair down, but it was clear she was powerful, she had pulled her kimiono over her shoulders slightly, showing off a little skin for once, she may be powerful and noble, but she was still young and intended to show she was, as well as her beauty


Ukitake had brought the eldest of his younger brothers with him

Byakuya sighed there were lots of people here already he disliked it so much.

Hitohira was on her way she had make herself look beautiful.

Kimiko was talking with people a drink in her hand, she was being social whether Byakuya approved or not, it was mostly aristocratic families, such as the main noble houses then the lower ones, such as the ukitake and the shunsui, however Kimiko had also invited Hisagi her student


Shou looked a little nervous he hadnt been to social events with his brother before

Hisagi was helping himself to a drink.

Byakuya was livid in his seat his arms folded.

Hitohira moved inside the house smiling she held her head high.

'enjoying yourselves?' Kimiko asked, as Hisagi had seemed to find himself with Kuukaku and Kaien

Kuukaku laughed 'you havent hosted a party like this for years, i thought you were getting old!'


Ukitake saw her and moved over 'there you are, i wanted to introduce you to my brother' he pushed Shou forward 'this is Hitohira'

Shou had been thrown into the deep end 'oh, um.. pleasure' he half laughed holding out his hand like he would greet a man 'im Shou'

Ukitake almost facepalmed

Hisagi nodded, "I thank you for inviting me"

Kaien winked, "When a beautiful woman hosts a party i am always there" he grinned.

Byakuya growled slightly how dare he!.

Rukia sighed, "You are better off without her" she said to her brother.


Hitohira smiled and shook his hand, "Its a pleasure to meet you i am Hitohira" she was never this social before but she was making an effort. "I must say Ukitake-Taichou you do have a good looking brother"

Kimiko laughed 'oh Kaien hush you' she was playful today

Kuukaku roared nudging Hisagi 'youll miss your chance if you dont get in there before my brother monopolizes her'

'ohhh he will do no such thing' Kimiko laughed 'hes just playing'


Renji said nothing he had seen Hitohira enter



Shou sort of grinned nervously 'eh... i... ii think nothing compared to how good you look....'

Ukitake laughed 'please ignore hes lack of charm... hes a trier though'

"Playing with fire" Kaien grinned, "I can show you what real love is" he teased.

Hisagi smiled slightly, "Is that what you said to your ex when she walked out unsatisfied" he commented lightly.

Byakuya looked away, "She is doing this on purpose"

Rukia had ignored him she was looking at Renji, "Whats wrong?"


Hitohira chuckled softly, "Ohh i do love a trier" she was feeling much more better now. "But why do i have a slight suspicion you are playing match maker Ukitake" she looked over at him smiling.

"Whatever gave you that idea" Shunsui sang as he moved over.

Kuukaku laughed grabbing Hisagi 'oh i like this one, hes got guts!'

Kimiko leaned forward slightly smiling, she flicked her hair over her shoulder 'now now, do play nicely boys'


'if i may, you do neglect her' Ginrei stated sipping his drink

Renji rubbed his head 'nothing.. i was just wondering why i had never seen Ukitakes brother before' he had to say that, seeing as he was looking that way



Ukitake laughed 'not at all, i just wanted to get him to meet people, hes ever so lonely in the house'

'nii-sama!' Shou warned with a hiss

Hisagi smiled slightly.

Kaien huffed, "She was more than satisfied"

"Satisfied to be getting out of there" Hisagi smirked.

Byakuya sighed, "I don't"

Rukia looked up, "I have met him before... he is a nice person... Ukitake-Taichou speaks of him greatly"


Hitohira smiled, "I know how it feels to be lonely" she chuckled. "My manor is ever so big with no one in it so if you ever do need a friend you can pop by" she smiled at him.

Shunsui chuckled getting some alcohol.

Kimiko laughed 'come now, im sure he wasnt that bad'

'wrong move!' Kuukaku laughed


Ginrei sighed 'im not saying what she is doing is right, Byakuya, but you arent either, you neglect her.. any woman would get sick... go have fun... WITH her'

Renji kept his eyes on him, though he was really looking at Hitohira 'he seems to be charming'



Ukitake moved away 'my work here is done'

Shou felt so embarrassed with his brother 'dont mind him .. hes always like that'

Kaien grinned, "See someone loves the right type of man" he nudged her gently.

Hisagi rolled his eyes.


Byakuya stood up he was angry it showed.

Rukia sighed, "Renji forget about her your with me now"


Hitohira smiled, "Its okay i think i am used to him now"

'oh come off it Kaien, Hisagi is a very hard worker, any woman would be lucky, his sense of honour would be welcomed by any woman... you have your own charms too i guess' Kimiko joked nudging him back slightly before taking a drink

Kuukaku laughed 'and this is why i am your friend'


Ginrei sighed watching him, Byakuya wasnt going about this the right way


'no.. really i was wondering about him' Renji smiled at her, he didnt want them to fight, he just felt so bad about Hitohira, he only wanted to know if she was well


Shou laughed 'your used to him? im not and i live with him'

Hisagi smiled slightly.

Kaien laughed he was having fun.

Byakuya moved up, "Kimiko" he commanded slightly.


Rukia sighed.


Hitohira smiled at him she looked around noticing Renji she waved giving him a smile.

Kimiko heard the tone of his voice 'yes, Byakuya?' her voice had changed too, suddenly it seemed tense

Kuukaku said nothing but she turned to Kaien and Hisagi as if to not intrude, but if the boys were really flirting with her, she wondered how this would go down


Ginrei sighed he knew Byakuya was going to do that, couldnt he go over with a drink for her and hug her or something, that would have been a much nicer way to let his jealousy be heard




Renji waved back slightly, half smiling 'she seems happy, im glad'


Shou looked over at who she was waving at

"I need a word" Byakuya stated.

Hisagi sipped his drink talking with Kaien though he was half listening.


Hitohira smiled turning back to Shou, "Ahh shall we get a drink?"

'of course, though i was entertaining... ill be right back' she smiled before she looked back at him 'yes?'

Kuukaku looked at the boys she would talk to them when she was gone



Shou smiled 'ah why not' he held out his arm for her to take 'well then ma'am'


Renji sighed softly but looked back at Renji 'i was worried about her yknow, i left her at a bad time in her life... im glad she looks better, i dont feel like so much of a jerk anymore'

"Why are you flirting" Byakuya snapped as he moved outside with her.

Kaien sighed, "Byakuya has her on a tight leash"

Hisagi sighed he had noticed she was not too happy.


Hitohira took his arm moving off with him smiling.


Rukia sighed, "I heard she had not left her room until christmas day thanks to Unohana... but i guess now she feels better"

'i am not flirting' Kimiko stated lighting up her pipe 'what do you care anyways?' she stated casually as she smoked


'listen both of you, i dont know if your joking with her or not.... but if you arent, you are playing a dangerous game.. a very dangerous game' Kuukaku sighed



Shou moved with her trying not to look nervous


Renji smiled 'im happy, i felt like everything was my fault, you understand that right?'

"You have been mocking me... in public!" Byakuya seethed.

Hisagi sighed nodding he was being friendly.

Kaien chuckled, "Aww i was being nice"


Hitohira moved with him to the drinks stand she handed him a drink smiling before getting one herself.


Rukia nodded, "But it looks fine now"

Kimiko glared at him 'ohhh Byakuya, you dont need me to make you look like a mockery.. you can do that all by yourself!'


'dont' Kuukaku sighed 'as much as she likes to think otherwise, he controls her' she didnt know how true that was


'so what kinds of drinks do you like' Shou smiled as she took his drink


Renji nodded 'i was going to go over and talk, but maybe thats not wise eh'

Byakuya glared, "Oh i hardly doubt it, you temptress perhaps i should never of changed the plans of marriage" his hissed.

Hisagi sighed he felt bad.

Kaien sighed, "Killjoy" he muttered though he knew it was true.


"I tend to stick to tea or water..." Hitohira smiled as she looked at him, "You?"


"Perhaps you could visit her tomorrow or something" Rukia smiled.

Kimiko lifted her hand to slap him 'you dont care anyways! why should i?!' she was shaking with the hurt


Kuukaku closed her eyes 'she can do better, he might be one of the highest nobles, but - mind my language, hes an ass'


'well we drink lots of tea in our house, brother likes it' Shou smiled 'i suppose i like coffee, have you tried it'

Renji smiled 'i might thats a great idea, thanks Rukia'

"Don't you dare raised your hand to me" Byakuya growled pushing her against the wall he was beyond angry.

Kaien chuckled, "She could have me you know" he winked.

Hisagi smiled slightly.


Hitohira thought about it. "Coffee...." she sipped her drink she was actually drinking alcohol for once. "I think i have had it once but was told it was unhealthy for me" she chuckled.

Rukia smiled nodding.
