Sakura nodded smiling.


Hisagi led her towards the bedroom.

Shinji led the way 'this way i know you are safe'


Ayame knew almost instantly that he would expect her to be ready to sleep in the same bed

"I'm strong!" Sakura chuckled as they walked to the manor.


Hisagi opened the door to the spare room, "You can sleep here for tonight"

Shinji laughed 'i dont doubt it, but yknow, peace of mind'


Ayame nodded slowly 'thank you' him saying that made her realise she was to sleep alone

Sakura smiled as she stopped outside the Kuchiki manor, "Well see you around"



Hisagi kissed her cheek before he moved to go to his own room.

Shinji gave her a wave watching her go in


Ayame smiled slightly 'goodnight, Shuuhei'

Sakura moved inside her home and moved to get some rest.



"Night" Hisagi waved back.

Shinji moved himself home too



Ayame moved to bed to rest

That night passed by and soon many more did. It had reached a couple of months and Ayame and sakura were settling back down and getting the hang of things. But one thing had not changed their hatred for one another.

Ayame was hanging around the Covert Operatives base of operations back in her uniform, back to work, she had regained a feeling of herself

Sakura was in 13th keeping everything in check as her captain was unwell as per usual. She sighed to herself things had settled down but at times she couldn't help but think maybe it was a lie.


SoiFon handed Ayame some paperwork, "I have sent word to Yoruichi, she will be giving you some special training"

Shinji knocked on the 13th he was here to check on Ukitake too


Ayame nodded as she took the papers 'a good chance to sharpen my skills'

"Enter" Sakura called she was sat at Ukitakes desk working on his paperwork like she normally did.


SoiFon nodded, "Use those lessons wisely, i am sending you on a mission to the world of the living"

Shinji moved in 'ahhh he was too unwell to work?'.


Ayame nodded 'i will, you know i will'

Sakura sighed, "Indeed, he tried to come in to finish these mounds of paperwork but his condition worsened so i sent him home"


SoiFon nodded in response, "Good now i will send word to Yoruichi"

"No need already here" Yoruichi grinned.

'well... give him my well wishes when you next see him' Shinji smiled, he was here to see her too




Ayame stood up bowing her head slightly 'Shihōin-Sama'

"Ahh of course i will" Sakura smiled as she cracked her knuckles, "Don't you just love a day full of paperwork"


Yoruichi scoffed, "No need for formalities" she waved Ayame off. "Come on off we go"

'want a hand?' Shinji smiled 'i finished mine, unexpectedly'



Ayame bowed to Soifon too 'well, ill be off Taichou' it was well known she wouldnt call Soifon Okaa-sama at work

Sakura shook her head, "I will be alright"



SoiFon gave a wave.

Yoruichi moved out of second.

Shinji moved into the kitchen at the back 'well i want tea' he told her as he set about making some



Ayame followed without another word

"Just help yourself" Sakura called out sarcastically he always did.


Yoruichi led her towards the maggots nest, "I assume you have been here already"

'dont mind if i do' Shinji half sang as he poured her some tea and placed it infront of her



Ayame nodded 'i have, the detention unit... affectionately known as the maggots nest'

Sakura shook her head at him, "You are terrible"



yoruichi nodded as she opened it up, "Well we need to speak with someone in here... interrogation"

Shinji sat down with his own 'hardly, i made you some too' he winked



Ayame moved in with her 'what was the crime?'

"Ohh then i let you off the hook" Sakura chuckled as she sipped the tea.


"Tried to murder a high class noble family" Yoruichi replied, "I need you to get info" she pointed to a table and chair set up. The suspect was already sat.
