Renji moved over to her fast holding her tight not caring about the blood at all 'whats wrong? are you hurt? what happened?'


Kimiko knelt at the Koto 'i didnt even think you would have one of these'

"H-Hes gone... he is dead... Nii-sama" Hitohira chocked out gripping at him.



"Ahh i am a man of surprises" Byakuya replied.

Renji used one of his hands to gently wipe away her tears 'what? ... but... but i just spoke with him last night, he looked fine... what happened?' he suddenly realised she didnt know about what they had spoke about.... and it began to sink in, she had come to him, not her fiance


Kimiko gently pushed up her sleeves ever so slightly and she played, she couldnt help but wonder why he had one of these

"I returned this morning to find him... it... was horrible" Hitohira whispered still crying.



Byakuya closed his eyes listening to her playing.

Renji held her tight running his hands through her hair 'im here, im always here, ill always be here for you, and only you'


Kimiko closed her eyes too as she played, maybe Hisana had played... but why would she, wasnt it a noble sort of instrument.. why was she even thinking of this

Hitohira just held him saying nothing more she was glad he was here to help her.



Byakuya kept his eyes closed listening. His mother had used to play for him and he always wanted someone to play again but Hisana never played.

'this may be the wrong time to say this, and im so sorry' Renji spoke softly he moved to her ear 'even if you choose not to take my offer, i will always be here for you... because i love you' he whispered the last four words



Kimiko let her hands move over the strings gently what did it matter, if he wanted her to play she would play

Hitohira hugged him close to her she didn't have the right words she wanted to express. She was going to call off the marriage for start. But she knew she wanted to be with him.


Byakuya happily listened.

Renji stroked her hair 'i know i dont have a chance with you, you are far too good for me, but whenever you need help or just someone to talk to.. please think of me, ill give you my all with no expectations, i promise' he whispered


Kimiko wouldnt stop until he was sick of it

"You do" Hitohira whispered softly as she held him.


Byakuya held a small smile on his face.

Renji pulled her in tighter 'whatever you need, if you need to cry, cry on my shoulder.... if you need to be held, let me hold you.. if you need to be angry, be angry at me, whatever it is, ill take it all.. ill do it all'


Kimiko chanced a look at him as she played

Hitohira gripped at him tighter at what he had said. He was really helping her. "Thank you" she whispered.



Byakuya was smiling as he listened.

Renji leant down slightly just to be closer to her comforting him 'dont thank me for something that is so instinctual to me, how could i not want to love and protect you'


Kimiko blushed slightly he was smiling

Hitohira pulled back slightly, "I need to start sorting everything out" she whispered. "Can you... help me?"



Byakuya was happily listening to it.

Renji smiled slightly 'ill always help you, at whatever you want' he was so sincere



Kimiko ended her song slowly and stopped playing, sort of just to see what he would say

Hitohira stood up still shaking, "I... can not pull you from your work" she whispered. "I will... sort out a few things... then... see you later"


"It was beautiful" Byakuya smiled.

'no, i wont leave you alone, either stay with me or im coming with you i will not leave you' Renji stated he wouldnt leave her when she was suffering


Kimiko smiled a blush on her cheeks 'thank you' she watched his face intently she was not sure what she wanted him to do but she wanted him to do something, she doubted he would

"Will... you come with me?" Hitohira whispered she didn't want to be selfish but she needed him.


Byakuya held out his hand for her, "Let us go sit in the gardens"

Renji nodded 'hang on' he sent a message to Byakuya, he wasnt asking to take time off, he was telling Byakuya that he was taking time out to help Hitohira



Kimiko took his hand as willingly as ever

Hitohira waited quietly.


Byakuya took the message, "She ran to Renji... i guess i should let him take time out" he stated.

Renji moved 'lets go'


Kimiko took his other hand and said something she probably shouldnt 'stop... focus on your heart, not others hearts' she didnt know how he would take it, she knew that if he focused on his heart and found he couldnt give Hisana up, she knew she would he dropped from his life

Hitohira moved out to return to her home where she could do everything.



Byakuya looked at her and nodded.

Renji followed her watching her carefully



Kimiko closed her eyes 'all i ask... even if Hisana owns all of your heart.... please make a little space for me, however small' she would take whatever she got

Hitohira shakily pushed open the door to her home.



Byakuya nodded in response she did hold a small place in his heart already.

Renji stayed close to her 'you okay?'



Kimiko pulled her hand into her chest clenching her fist, she was so scared, she wore a mask of strength and power, but everytime he was close, it was like he pulled it off
