Renji recieved a message 'what? im being called' this had interrupted the happiest moment of his life


Akito moved with her trying not to smile it was working


'oh' Kimiko looked down 'well when you return please teach me' she was never called for meetings because she ran the Royal Guard, she had nothing to do with the squads until she was looking for people to join the Guard

Hitohira looked up, "I am aswell" she sighed softly standing up.


SoiFon moved inside first where a few captains where present.


"You are expected aswell" Byakuya stated.

'we can talk more after this' Renji smiled 'promise...'


Akito moved inside

Kimiko looked confused 'why?'

Hitohira nodded smiling slightly she moved to go to the meeting.


SoiFon relayed all the information she had received to the head captain before others had arrived.


Byakuya held her hand as he moved to the door, "About the death perhaps?"

Renji stayed with her smiling slightly


Akito looked down sighing acting as if this was the saddest thing in the world


Kimiko moved with him gripping his hand tight

Hitohira moved inside she wondered why Akito was there... and the other captains.

Byakuya had soon arrived himself with Kimiko holding her hand still.

SoiFon frowned just staying quiet.

Shunsui stood in silence he only knew briefly that the head of a noble clan had died.

Mayuri was smiling.

Yamamoto was standing at the front waiting

Akito sighed looking down he was looking sad

Renji wasnt sure what was going on at all

Ukitake wasnt entirely sure what was going on either

Kimiko hold his hand tightly it was clear she didnt want to let go

Hitohira looked around what was going on.

"Byakuya Kuchiki... and Renji Abarai you have been accused of killing Ichirou Mahou" SoiFon stated, "Strong evidence has been given explain us your side of the story"

Byakuya was shocked he was being accused?.

Shunsui sighed the nobles affairs were always hard.

Mayuri tried not to chuckle.

Kimiko moved forward 'no! no! Byakuya would never!' a burst of emotion

Akito sighed heavily shaking his head as though he felt sorry for her

Yamamoto struck his staff 'silence!'

Renji was blinking as though he couldnt take in what was being said

Ukitake frowned was this right?

Hitohira was shocked... they were accusing them?.

"We have strong evidence" SoiFon stated. "Akito explain what you told me to them"

Hitohira looked over at him.

Byakuya sighed heavily, "Why am i being accused? i have done nothing... neither has my lieutenant"

Renji shook his head 'why would i'

Akito looked up sighing 'you see Byakuya Kuchiki does not love the Ryuujin head of house, ask him yourself he will tell you he doesnt love her, you dont do you, Byakuya?... he was forced to marry her over Hitohira because she was a head of house, Byakuya was happier to have been with Hitohira because she didnt expect his love, she knew he was still in love with his late wife, but this Ryuujin wants all of Byakuyas affections all of the time....'

Kimiko froze was that true, was he forced? did he hate her

'i believe that he sent Renji Abarai to try to break up my marriage ... only yesterday did Renji ask to marry her himself, using the Ryuujin and the Kuchiki names as support, clearly Byakuya is telling his fiancee anything to make her support him in his quest to dissolve her marriage, with this, i am out of the picture, then with Ichirou dead, Hitohira is head of the house... the Kuchiki elders will agree to let him marry her instead of the Ryuujin'

Kimiko was shaking pretty badly her legs nearly gave out under her but she couldnt let weakness show, but no matter how she tried she looked badly hurt by those words

"Your lying!" Hitohira whispered. "Your twisting everything" she was shaking herself.

"Do you have anything to prove he is wrong?" SoiFon asked.

Hitohira took a step back she didn't.

"How do we not know he is lying and did it himself for power" Byakuya stated calmly.

"He... he couldn't of" Hitohira looked down feeling the tears leave her eyes. "He was with me that evening."

SoiFon sighed.

"He could of sent someone else" Byakuya stated.

Kimiko leaned back against the wall to steady herself

Akito sighed 'look what youve done Byakuya, you and your sidekick' he pointed to Hitohira 'youve made her cry, youve ripped up her family.. and tried to rip us apart too, and look at her, the most powerful woman in Soul Society and youve used her' he moved his hand over to Kimiko

Kimiko was getting angry her fists were both clenched someone had better start giving answers or she was going to explode

Renji ran his fingers through his hair 'none of that is true! why on earth would i want to kill Ichirou he was my only chance to help Hitohira!'

Akito shook his head 'dont lie now it wont save you'

Byakuya sighed, "We cannot go by what he has said... no one has eye witnesses... so you cannot prosecute" he stated.

Hitohira fell to her knees crying she could not take any of this there was just one thing after another she had not even had the chance to change the kimono hers was still covered in her brothers blood.

Shunsui sighed this was horrible.

SoiFon frowned, "There is no other evidence than the weapon used and it held nothing"

Renji slowly moved a step closer to Hitohira 'please.. please dont cry...' he wanted to give her the earth but what could he do


Kimiko closed her eyes suddenly something clicked in her 'who is he? what does he know? excuse me what was your family name again?'

Akito's eye twitched all he did want was power

Kimiko carried on 'so what if Byakuya doesnt love me? so what if he loves his late wife? why would being with Hitohira make any difference to him if he didnt love either of us?... and who says he doesnt love me?' she knew he didnt but she was defending herself she would not be seen as weak

Akito almost laughed 'you are clearly deluded if you think he loves you my dear lady, look at him, he hasnt even denied not loving you at all, if i loved a woman that would be the first thing i would clear up'

Hitohira just shook she could not hold it in at all.

SoiFon was unsure of how to go about this.

One of seconds subordinates entered bowing, "We have found the killer"

Another dragged in a guard that had the symbol of Akitos family crest on it. He looked positively scared.

Byakuya sighed, "I may not love her fully but there is a place in my heart that is hers" he stated.

Shunsui closed his eyes was it always like this with the nobles.

Renji moved over to her he didnt care if he was punished he got on his knees and pulled her up to let her cry on his shoulder stroking her hair 'i never used you' he whispered 'i never have and i never will'

Kimiko didnt look up at Byakuya, she had asked him to keep a place in his heart for her

Akito frowned 'what is the meaning of this?'

Kimiko closed her eyes 'there is all your answers, never again accuse my house of being weak, never again accuse the Kuchiki of underhanded tactics, you are a powerless man who wishes to have all the power yourself... so you would use any tactic you had to so that you could take the place of a head of house, you were set to marry her, you would benefit the most if Ichirou died, and though we had our differences me and Ichirou, i have never wished him dead, oh and the Mahou and i, we are alright, me and Hitohira have an understanding, that does not concern you' Kimiko would not let her reputation be destroyed

Soifon looked at the killer, "Who sent you to kill Ichirou Mahou"

"Renji Abarai" The guard whispered. "The Kuchiki-clan were trying to frame Akito's clan. They got me to were a guard outfit with there crest on and to be caught like this" he sighed. "Renji had told me the Kuchiki had given him a large amount of money to kill Ichirou off so he could gain power and the Kuchiki would not have to worry about the girl becoming head as she would not be able to take it"

Hitohira was shaking terribly with all of this she didn't know what to believe she didn't know who to trust it was breaking her down piece by piece.

SoiFon closed her eyes this was two people stating it was the Kuchiki and Renji.

"What? i have never given my lieutenant any money... i would not kill someone off" Byakuya stated.

Renji looked like hed been slapped in the face 'lies! all lies! i would never, I LOVE HER, WHY WOULD I HURT HER FAMILY' he was so sincere

Akito frowned 'you dont, i love her, you tried to steal her away from me, the things people will destroy for power'

Kimiko's knees buckled 'Byakuya wouldnt, he wouldnt'

'will you give it up already... he doesnt love you and he will never love you, i feel so bad for you Ryuujin, but go home, dont get involved... youll only hurt yourself' Akito sighed

Kimiko closed her eyes everyone was accusing her of being weak, they were all saying that Byakuya was using her 'i think youll find im strong enough to handle my own' she had to keep her reputation she had to

"Stop it..." Hitohira whispered very quietly. "Stop it... stop it! STOP IT!" she screamed she wanted them all to shut up and leave it it was hurting her too much she couldn't handle with it all. She gripped at her hair shaking on the floor she was breaking down.

Shunsui closed his eyes, "I think its time we stop playing the blaming game, Its hurting too many people."

Byakuya sighed he was at a loss of what to do. So many things had been said and done.

"Ohh let me test on her mind its frantic" Mayuri piped up smiling.

"Mayuri be quiet... I think we should all get some rest before we come to a decision... as for the accused i think they should stay in a secluded room until it clears up" Shunsui suggested.

Akito sighed heavily

Renji moved to hold her again he just wanted to help her

Akito moved over taking her from him 'dont you touch her'

Renji flinched

Kimiko watched what was going to happen to Byakuya, would he even say anything to her.. what was going on

Yamamoto moved 'i want a full proper investigation, have Byakuya Kuchiki and Renji Abarai detained, the 6th will not run until the facts have been found out'

Shunsui stopped Akito from getting his hands on Hitohira. "I think it should also be fair he is detained, he also has a perfect motive" he stated.

"Detained?" Byakuya sounded shocked he had done nothing.

Hitohira did not move she just sobbed where she was.

Yamamoto nodded 'have all three of them taken away'

Akito looked shocked 'what!?'

Renji looked at Shunsui 'look after her then! dont let her cry! dont let her hurt!'

Kimiko whispered shaking her head 'no' she just watched Byakuya

SoiFon had the guards take all three of them away.

Byakuya looked back at Kimiko a look that said he was sorry.

Hitohira was in a state.

Shunsui nodded to Renji, "I will no doubt take her to fourth were she would be well looked after" he reassured him.

Yamamoto watched soon they could start properly investigating

Renji nodded he wouldnt say sorry he hadnt done anything 'when this is cleared up, ill look after you myself Hitohira, i swear it'

Akito hadnt planned for this at all

Kimiko flashstepped infront of Byakuya her hand holding the hilt of her sword 'i wont let you' she stated strongly though she was shaking, she didnt care that if she didnt stand down she would be in trouble
